2019 ADVENT | 24-stripe skein

In 2018 I came up with the idea of a 24-stripe advent skein to offer an alternative to the very popular mini-skein advent calendars. I had not anticipated how well received this would be. I had thought wouldn't it be fun to knit this with a few people leading up to Christmas, there was no way I could have predicted over 400 knitters would want to join in. Thank you so much to everyone who participated.

The 2019 Cozy Knitter 24-stripe advent skein will be on my Bliss base which is 80% superwash merino and 20% nylon and be approx 110-115g.The skein will be split into two even half-skeins each with 2 full repeats of 24 stripes, each stripe is approx 5-6 rows depending on your gauge. To have a finished pair of socks by Christmas Day you may need to knit more than one stripe daily, this depends on your personal gauge and the size you will be knitting. You can choose to include a mini skein with the advent skein. There will be the option to purchase an undyed mini, a black mini or a surprise complimentary colour. NOTE: the stripes for 2019 are slightly wider than the 2018 skein.

This will be a brand new colourway and only available for a limited time. I may or may not choose to repeat this colourway at a later time.
