International Shipping

The Cozy Knitter ships using Chit Chats Express, a shipping partner that works with a network of carriers to deliver packages throughout Canada, the United States, and internationally.

General Information

  • Unless otherwise noted below, all international shipments are sent Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). Orders shipped outside Canada may be subject to customs inspections, import duties, taxes, or other fees. Any charges assessed by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

  • Shipping charges are calculated at checkout. Please note that for Advent skeins and other pre-order items, shipping rates may change between the time your order is placed and when it ships. If there is a significant increase in shipping costs, you will be contacted by email before your order is fulfilled and asked to pay the difference.

  • A tracking number will be provided once your order has shipped.

  • If there is an issue delivering your package, the destination carrier may contact you by phone to confirm delivery details or advise you of any outstanding customs charges. Please ensure you provide a valid phone number when placing your order.

European Union (EU)

Orders with a value under €150 are shipped using a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) service. VAT and the €3 flat-rate customs duty are collected and remitted on your behalf during checkout, so no additional VAT or duty should be due upon delivery.

United States

The Cozy Knitter yarns qualify for duty-free entry under the CUSMA/USMCA trade agreement. Chit Chats Express charges a small brokerage fee to clear shipments through U.S. Customs, and this fee is included in the shipping cost shown at checkout.

Please note that customs regulations and border fees are subject to change. Any additional charges assessed by U.S. Customs or other authorities remain the responsibility of the recipient.

United Kingdom

The Cozy Knitter is unable to collect and remit UK import duties and taxes on behalf of customers. As a result, there is a minimum order value of £135 for all UK shipments.

All UK orders are shipped Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). Import duties, VAT, and any other applicable fees may be collected upon delivery and are the responsibility of the recipient.
